The Ranger Super Duty is a serious bit of kit straight off the showroom floor, so it deserved a build to match. This one came through for a full touring fit-out. Fridge, kitchen, power and water all on board, and everything colour-coded to the Traction Green paint so it looks like it left the factory this way.
Underneath it’s a 1600mm Trojan aluminium tray with a 1400mm lift-off canopy on top. Open both sides and you’ve got a proper travelling kitchen and workshop. Lift the canopy off and the tray’s yours again.
Everything’s set up for how you actually camp. The upright 85L fridge means no bending over a chest lid, the kitchen drawer and slide-out bench give you somewhere real to cook, and the rear trundle drawer swallows the long gear. Pull up, open the doors, and dinner’s underway in a couple of minutes.
The RedVision system is what ties it together. Power, lighting and monitoring from one display, so you can see exactly what you’ve got left before you head further out. The Hardkorr Tri-Colour lights keep the bugs down of an evening, and covers everything from a quick tyre change to setting up camp in the dark.
The colour-coding is the finishing touch. Traction Green panels on the tray and toolboxes tie the whole rear end back to the cab, so it reads as one vehicle instead of a ute with gear bolted on.
This one’s ready to go bush the day it’s handed over, and there’s still uni-strut left to keep adding.
